Ah summer.
A time when I feel like I should be rolling out of bed at around midday, hitting the pool for an hour or so and then off to the beer garden for a day of watching cricket and ordering greasy food.
Alas no.
Owing to the extremely fun nature of my mid-year holidays, I have been cursed to take no real break over summer and instead spend every day either trudging through young adult texts that are becoming only slightly more interesting as the hot days go by or feeling guilty about not trudging through said texts. Here is a picture of me feeling guilty.
Here is a picture of me succumbing to that guilt. Or just being pissed off that I’ve been caught out.
I have tried many techniques for study avoision. Like tidying my room:
Messy room
Tidy room!
But here are the sights I still have to look out at whenever I knuckle down and hit the books.

thanks for NOT showing a picture in my bathers. I would have freaked if any rashy flesh had made it to the blog...by the way, our pool is pretty cool. Thanks Fiz! And our ottoman/bed is cool too! long live clarke rubber...the ikea of rubber/furniture/bedding/pool supplies!

Oh ... wait ... I understand. I'm the devil! Very poetic.
I spent ages trying to work out what you meant before I had to delve into my 'religious fairy-tales' cortex (that's where I keep things that other people believe to be true in order that I may understand vexatious peoples).
Or is there actually a pitchfork somewhere in the pix that I've missed?
